Ravensara essential oil (Ravensara aromatica) is often confused with ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora) essential oil. The two are different.
Plant family: Lauraceae
Production: Steam distilled from the leaves of the tree. A ravensara bark oil is also available but generally not recommended for aromatherapy use because of high estragole content.
Aroma: Eucalyptus-like, slightly sweet and fruity.
Perfume/Aromatic note: Top.

Massage oil to relieve muscle aches and pains:
Blend oils. Massage as needed into painful areas.
Blend essential oils. Use 1 to 3 drops in a steam inhalation.
