Why Use Aromatherapy Soy Candles?
The use of aromatherapy is a method of alternative healing that works to improve the state of mind or body by using fragrance, quite frequently essential oils. One way to fragrance your environment is with aromatherapy soy candles. Soy is a natural, safe ingredient for candle making and burns cleaner than traditional paraffin wax. And, soy candles hold and release a good deal of scent, or silage as it is known in the perfume world. They can be a bit more expensive but it is worth it to pay more because of their high quality.
There are quite a few of aromatherapy candles that are made with soy. The hardest thing is knowing which scent to choose. It helps to know more about aromatherapy. For example, a vanilla, rose or carnation candle would be romantic and soothing. A lavender candle would be a great stress reliever. A candle scented with peppermint or jasmine would be a great productivity booster. And a candle made with citrus could encourage a good mood and even repel insects. Some aromatherapy candles are made with a blend of various oils that complement each other.
One of the more creative and different soy candle products are the ones that can also be used as a body moisturizer. Once these fragrant candles burn down to where there is a pool of melted soy, you can blow them out and use the product on your body as a warm, aromatic massage oil. These candles come in all kinds of fantastic fragrances for everything from relaxation to romance. On the subject of romance, there are certain essential oils thought to have aphrodisiac properties. They include jasmine, rose and lemongrass to name just three.
Aromatherapy soy candles are readily available at many locations. Once only available from certain vendors or online, today you can find them in Wal-Mart as well as other large retailers. Many small retailers that sell gifts and souvenirs carry homemade soy candles. And, there are no shortage of small online businesses that offer wonderfully scented soy candles. Often these candles are handmade with love one at a time, by a small business owner. These candles are usually reasonable in price and highly scented. Some online retailers also sell soy tarts, which are wax squares or tartlet shapes for oil burners. You'll be amazed at the many scents and scent blends you will find when shopping for soy candles.
